Knit your very own unique colourwork hat using the Anthology recipe pattern by Tin Can Knits.

Skill Level Required: Adventurous to Advanced Beginner. Must be comfortable knitting and purling in the round

Here is what you will learn in the class:

• Stranded colourwork
• Chart reading for colourwork
• Mixing and matching charts
• How to manage floats

Materials supplied by students:

• Anthology by Tin Can Knits (pattern is available on Ravelry for free): https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/anthology-2
• 2 or 3 colours of worsted weight yarn for the size of hat you choose to knit

• 4mm (US 6) 16” circular needle for ribbing; 5mm (US 8): circular needles for hat, 
  5mm (US 8) double pointed needles or a long circular needle for crown, whichever is your preference for small circumference circular knitting

• Stitch marker(s)
• Darning needle
• Pen or pencil (if desired to take notes)

Suggested yarns:

• Cascade 220
• Haynes Creek Worsted
• Woolstok Worsted
• Any non-superwash worsted weight yarn

Pre work: Please come to the class with the ribbing portion of the hat completed, ready to work Round 1 of the main body of the hat

Please ensure that all materials are purchased prior to the class and yarn is wound into a ball if purchased as a skein
