Do you already know how to knit, but want to learn to knit Continental? This is the class for you! Continental knitting is a useful skill to acquire. It requires less motion than throwing (also known as English-style knitting) and is therefore easier on joints likely to be stressed by repetitive strain. It is also fantastic to know BOTH styles of knitting when knitting stranded (colour-work), AND it’s much simpler to knit Continental when double knitting or when knitting Brioche.
Skill level required: You must already know how to knit for this class. (please be comfortable with knitting and purling in your current style).
