Continue in your knitting journey with this Learn to Knit a Hat class!  Skills will be taught while making your first hat.

Skill Level required: comfortable with knitting basics, cast on, knit, purl, bind off

Here is what you will learn in the class:

• Knitting in the round with circular needles
• Knitting in the round with double pointed needles
• Basic hat construction
• Fixing basic mistakes

Materials supplied by Yarn Twisters:

• Pattern for Andalusin Hat by Lisa Overby: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/andalusian-hat
• 5mm (US 8) circular needle in 16” and and 5mm (US 8) double pointed needle

Materials supplied by students:

• 1 skein worsted weight yarn (approximately 150yards required for hat)
• Stitch marker
• Darning needle
• Pen or pencil (if desired to take notes)
